There is at troll village which can be seen when overflying Darkshore. It is the home of the Shatterspear Troll tribe. Aside from a handful of named NPCs, Shatterspear Trolls can be found here in quantity.
The valley is a one-way trip; you need a mage portal, summon, or hearthstone to get out.

The Approach
The village can be reached from Winterspring. From Everlook, ride west to the mountains, then go to 28.2, 48.9. You should be facing a pair of trees, one behind the other, with a frost-covered ruined marble building directly behind you.
Follow the mountains north. When you zone into Moonglade, start heading west. Be careful! There are some spots you can fall that will trap you, forcing you to hearth out.
